AIR SHOW INSURANCE
Airshows need a separate policy liability exposure, rain insurance, property losses, event cancellation and liquor liability. Not only that they are properly covered but also that all participants and vendors are as well.
Airshows and Fly-Ins, Hot-Air Balloon Events, Air Racing Events – no matter the type of event you are hosting, we can help with providing insurance protection for the event. We work with airshow insurance providers to provide you with options to tailor coverage for your specific event.
In the air, risk is an essential element of the Display, but the range of activities at your Show all present operational challenges and potential insurance risks. Our team of experts has been arranging aviation insurance for air shows for over a decade and we can offer Air Organizers our expertise to help you develop an integrated aviation and non-aviation insurance plan.
Airshow risks
Risk is an essential element of the Display, but the range of activities at your Show all present operational challenges and potential insurance risks:
- Flying programs
- Aircraft movements
- Re-fuelling
- Ground handling
- "Special or Unique" displays and events, such as firework displays
- Spectators
- Third party suppliers, such as catering companies and trade exhibitors
- Security (airside and landside)
- VIPs and volunteers
- On-site transport and spectator parking
Most, if not all airport general liability/premises liability policies exclude liability for accidents occurring during air meets or aerial exhibitions (air shows) for which an admission charge is made. This creates the need for separate Air Show Insurance or an Air Meet Event Liability Insurance Policy.
